I celebrated my 45th birthday on the 28th of September and I have to admit that I am loving this decade of my life!
I got married and had my first baby at 26, followed by 3 more. I had 4 babies under 5 when I started writing my first novel and I can tell you those were some crazy busy years!
Now my oldest is almost 19 and at University and my youngest, twins, are 14 and independant, resiliant girls.
They have watched me build my business right from the start and have supported me evey step of the way. Even when they were embarrassed to say their mum was a romance writer!
This month is a crazy busy one for me. I have 4 book signings including the Sunshine Coast Fiction Festival which I organize with my partner Tim. We have authors flying in from around the world to teach, sign and talk books. If you haven't grabbed your ticket yet, go to: sunshinecoastfictionfestival.com.au
I'm also in the thick of writing Our Song which will release early 2027. It is the final in the Songbird Trilogy and I can't wait for you to find out what trouble Bayleigh and Chase get into in this one!
My partner (in business and in life) Tim and I are also deep in festival mode for the Sunshine Coast Fiction Festival which is happening 30 October to 1 November. Over 100 authors and vendors will be there for the book signing, with author talks and panels on stage all weekend. I can't wait to interview Kat T Masen, Kylie Scott and Mads Rafferty over the course of the weekend.
