I'm just back from Europe and feeling that particular kind of tired that comes after something really wonderful — so I wanted to sit down and catch you up on everything happening in my world right now.

I've started writing Our Song.
I know. I can hardly believe it either.
Our Song is the third and final book in the Songbird trilogy, and just beginning it feels significant. I'll be sharing more over the coming months as the story comes together, but I wanted you to be the first to know that it's officially underway.
Stay tuned. I have a feeling this one is going to be special.
I just got back from RARE Berlin.
Last week I had the most incredible time at RARE Berlin — an international reader event where I attended as an author. I brought my German translations and special editions with me, and getting to connect with readers from across Europe was something I won't forget in a hurry.
After the event, Tim and I stole a few days in Paris — the food, the streets, the light on everything. We wandered, we ate very well, and I came home with a notebook full of ideas and that particular kind of inspiration that only travel seems to unlock. I'm not sure exactly where it'll show up yet, but I can already feel it creeping into the pages of Our Song.

I don't do this often, but when I love something, I have to share it.
The Reasons Why by Tanya Renee is the first book in her new Canadian small town romance series, and I was lucky enough to get an early copy. It's a steamy second chance romance with the most gorgeous MMC — a Canadian Mountie — and if you love When Calls the Heart the way I do, I have a feeling you're going to be completely obsessed.
