Cue the Silver Fox

Cue the Silver Fox
PRAIRIE CHARM, Book Nine in the Primrose Series is a few weeks away from release and this week I had the opportunity to re-read this gem that I wrote almost two years ago. Thrown back into this story that consumed my days and nights right around the time my first novel, Prairie Sky released, I couldn't help but reflect on how I've come with my writing. Writing is a skill, a skill I have worked so hard to try to hone. Whether it be Fiction Writing Academy through my publisher, Serenade Publishing, online masterclasses or reading books on writing and techniques. Continuing to read and listen to authors that inspire me. Or simply returning to my collection of non-fiction books on positive mindset by some of my favorites like Gretchen Rubin, Mel Robbins and Rory Vaden. I feel like my self-guided education in many ways is just beginning but seeing first hand that the work is paying off makes me immeasurably proud.

That being said, PRAIRIE CHARM hits the way I intended.  A modern age-gap love story with a strong independent woman piecing her life back together after infidelity and a leading man that is mature and knows exactly how to treat a woman.  (Might I add deliciously sexy too with his muscles, tattoos and Harley!)

Read this red-hot love story when

PRAIRIE CHARM releases March 15th!

February was a crazy month both personally and as an author!  It was a month where I got to meet new readers, and work on a challenging story that is unlike anything I've written before.  The first in a four book series set to release in 2027 this story brings stunning imagery, heart breaking moments, a part of Manitoba I've never explored before in one of my stories and two beautiful and complex characters who are only trying to overcome their traumas and heal.  This book thus far has been an emotional journey and with me still navigating the story through the first draft process I have to say I'm proud of where its going.
Happy reading!
Tanya
